Summit Point Kart prepares to launch 2010 League series.

Summit Point Kart is getting ready to announce a series of league events aimed at getting more people involved in Grassroots Motorsports while also making a competitive series that is affordable.

Using the successful Sodi RX7, SPK will offer a level playing field with 10 karts outfitted with weight boxes. Anchor drivers at the top of their weight class will use on of 22 karts without weight boxes. The lighter weight challengers will have to carry up to 66 pounds to be on par with the rest of the field. This and other measures will be employed to guarantee the closest racing possible.

Formats ranging from multiple sprints to Endurance races will allow drivers of all abilities to earn an opportunity to shine.
